It's a wonderful time for practice – in the heart of winter.
The retreat will begin on Thursday at 10:00 and end on Motzaei Shabbat. Mauna (silence) will be kept for a large part of the day and sitting will be the focal point of the practice.
The morning practice will include about two hours of sitting and pranayama. After a short break we'll resume with another two hours of asana.
Later on during the day we'll study a text together – sitting again either before or after.
In the afternoon there will be another, shorter session, of sitting, pranayama and asana, and another longer sitting at night.
Payment for the retreat is divided between lodging fee to be paid directly to the ashram according to room type; and tutoring fee of 600 NIS, 400 of which is to be paid as deposit on registration.
